The Council Secretariat provides administrative support to Chief and Council. This includes taking, editing and making available minutes for all Council meetings and for the many boards, committees and commissions that report to Council. Council Secretariat also compiles and keeps current WFN's laws, policies and procedures, and provides notice of important dates.

WFN has three Law Enforcement Officers (LEO). They work closely with the RCMP to enforce WFN, provincial, and federal laws. LEOs may be contacted regarding disorderly conduct, unsightly premises, traffic violations, animal control, outdoor event permits, and fire protection.
