Celebrate official opening of WFN Early Years Centre at open house, September 15

Celebrate the official opening and provincial recognition of the Westbank First Nation BC Early Years Centre at a community open house and celebration on September 15, 2017.

Everyone is welcome to attend and learn more about the Centre’s story as well as programs and services available for families with infants and children. Enjoy local catering, check out the face painting booth, enter the door prize draw, and meet with Centre staff and local and provincial representatives.

As well, browse through the information booths set up by Interior Health, Success by Six, Okanagan Regional Library, the Sncəwips Heritage Museum, Sənsisyusten House of Learning, Westbank Child Development Centre, and the WFN Health and Wellness department.

The Early Years Centre, which formerly hosted programs and services at the WFN Health & Wellness Building, is now located on the top floor of the new WFN Youth Centre. The Centre was also recently approved and formally recognized by the Province of British Columbia as a BC Early Years Centre. Its new, central location has allowed for enhanced programming and more space for children to play. Now it’s time to celebrate!
