One $1,500 St'kwak'wip Scholarship will be awarded. It is intended to provide financial assistance to students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and community contribution. The name "St'k'wak'wip" is a metaphor describing something physically falling on you as you as a responsibility to carry out or see through to its end; usually, this responsibility is given to you by your community.
Eligibility: Students must be currently accepted and enrolled in post-secondary program. You must display exceptional academic achievement, a dedication to community, and an overall exceptional academic and professional resume or life experience.

The Westbank First Nation (WFN) Education Services and the Siya Council Committee are pleased to announce that we are establishing a WFN Alumni Bursary. We are seeking input, support and contribution from WFN post-secondary graduate students.
As you are aware, the WFN Post-Secondary Support Program provides financial support and guidance to WFN members who are pursuing their education and career goals. Contribution from former sponsored students will illustrate our communities support, encourage education and will
acknowledge the forthcoming WFN graduate students. This bursary will provide students with an
extra incentive to continue and succeed in their education goals. We envision that yearly investments will continue to grow and the WFN Alumni bursary will be a sustainable award. The WFN Alumni bursary will be founded by our people for our people.
Over the past 5 years, WFN sponsored 90 students and since then, 33 students graduated. It gives us great pride that our members are continuing onto Masters and Doctorate Programs and stats shows that our high school students are prepadng and continuing onto post-secondary education. The increase of applications and the assortment of education and career paths confirm that we are a healthy, strong and vibrant community and will continue building professional capacity as a self governing nation.
We welcome your input and monetary support to start up the WFN Alumni Bursary. Please fill out the attached form with enclosed cheque made out to WFN Education or you can drop the form and cash off at the Health and Wellness Centre or the WFN Government Building. Please mail cheque and
