Westbank First Nation administers a number of education programs including:
Welcome to Westbank Child Development Centre. Our programs foster self esteem, cultural and language experiences and activities. We provide the stepping stones to build honesty, responsibility and respect. Our learning experiences are achieved through an environment of play with a focus on confidence and responsibility to enhance full developmental potential. Our centre operates from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We offer four programs. Registration is required.
We are an Aboriginal daycare that provides service to Aboriginal children and families only. To register for our programs, please contact Valerie Fry @ 250-768-4568 or email vfry@wfn.ca
Parents may apply to the Ministry of Children and Family Development (childcare subsidy) for assistance in childcare fees. There is an application process that depends on financial circumstances. It is the responsibility of the parents to apply for the subsidy. Forms will be given at the time of registration, or visit mcf.gov.bc.ca or call toll free 1-888-338-6622.

sensisyusten House of Learning is designed after a traditional native pit-house lending itself to interactive learning in a warm and inviting environment. sensisyusten offers junior kindergarten to grade five programs. sensisyusten is a Group 1 Independent School with the B.C. Ministry of Education. The regular provincial curriculum is enhanced with a cultural inclusion component which offers instruction in Okanagan Language.
