Councillor Werstuik served as an elected official for Westbank First Nation from 2000 to 2007. He was re-elected by the Membership for the 2010-2013 term. Mic and his wife Nicole are both members of Westbank First Nation. They reside on reserve lands and have two children, Saige and Wade.
