Not only are residents of Westbank Lands represented by their Advisory Council, but they are also represented by the elected representative of Central Okanagan West through the Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO). Due to this unique relationship, residents of Westbank lands are eligible to vote in scheduled elections for the RDCO that occur every four (4) years. As WFN holds a service agreement with the RDCO, taxation dollars are expended for the mutual benefit of both bodies to best support the residents they serve. It is important that residents are aware of their rights, and ability to vote in RDCO elections to ensure they are represented at all levels. Residents are additionally able to vote for the Zone 2 School Trustee through the RDCO.
