Westbank First Nation developed an Active Transportation Plan (ATP) to better connect WFN lands with West Kelowna and regional routes, which included proposing new infrastructure that will increase ease for human powered transportation. Active transportation is any form of human powered transportation, including walking, biking, skateboarding, using a motorized wheelchair etc. The plan identifies improvements to existing facilities and recommends new paths, sidewalks, and bike lanes.

WFN gathered survey feedback in the Spring of 2019. Based on community feedback, draft recommendations for future programs and policies have been suggested. Residents were asked to rate the recommendations based on their level of importance.
