Flood preparedness - Who to call in the event of flooding
As we expect more rainfall and possible flooding near our creeks in the next few days, WFN has set up two sandbag locations at the following locations:
Intersection of Elk Rd & Cougar Rd (across from WFN Public Works office) and
Intersection of Boucherie Road & Old Boucherie Rd (in front of Jubilee Mobile Home Park)
Who to contact in the event of flooding:
Flooding related to roads, creeks, or ditches:
WFN Public Works 24 hour emergency number at 250-707-0493 or complete the Service Request form
Flooding on private land:
The homeowner is responsible to take remedial action.
Flooding that is life threatening:
Call 911 so that the fire department can respond.
For drinking water or sanitary issues:
