On May 21, 2026, WFN was honoured to be part of the arrival of the Memorial Cup.
The cup travelled by canoe across Okanagan Lake from stqaʔtkʷɬniwt (Westbank) to kiʔlawnaʔ (Kelowna). This journey is symbolic of mutual respect, understanding, and coming together in a good way.
We welcome all visitors, event organizers, athletes & fans to our territory. limləmt (thank-you) to our Elders, Chief & Council, youth, members of the RCMP, and all those who helped organize this event.
