Please be advised that the Westbank First Nation (WFN) Planning & Development office has received the following application for an amendment to the subject property’s zoning.  We are notifying all Affected Interest Holders, WFN Members, and the Advisory Council.

Location of Application:             Lot 211-2, Plan RSBC 2839R, 2201 Louie Drive, Tsinstikeptum Indian Reserve No. 9


Application Summary:

WFN Chief and Council provided Initial Consideration to amend the subject property’s zoning, from Highway Commercial (HC) to Planned Unit Development (PUD), on April 2, 2024. WFN Chief and Council have also requested comments from appropriate reviewing bodies, Affected Interest Holders, the Advisory Council, and WFN Members as part of the consultation process outlined in Section 6 and Section 8 of the WFN Land Use Law No. 2007-01.

The applicant proposes to construct a Hilton Home 2 Suites hotel with approximately 106 units on this site.

Affected Interest Holders, WFN Members, and the Advisory Council are invited to provide written comments on the proposed amendments to the land use and zoning designation.  All comments must be received by the WFN Planning & Development office by 4:30pm on Friday, May 3, 2024.
