🧡On this day we recognize and honour survivors and pay tribute to the children who never made it home.

Reconciliation is, as described by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, a process establishing and maintaining respectful relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. Bringing closure to the legacy of Indian Residential Schools lies at the heart of reconciliation between Indigenous Peoples who attended these schools, their families and communities, and all Canadians

There are many ways you can take action toward reconciliation. By doing even just one step, you are opening the door for a deeper understanding of reconciliation and the history behind National Day for Truth & Reconciliation.
Take time on this important day to listen, learn, acknowledge and reflect
