Westbank First Nation has appointed a new Board of Directors for Ntityix Development Corporation (NDC), reinforcing its leadership and strategic direction in business development. NDC manages key ventures in forestry, real estate, and commercial enterprises, generating economic benefits for WFN and its Members. The board provides governance and oversight to ensure sustainable growth and responsible stewardship of resources.
Robbin R.R. Sinclaire has been named Chair of the NDC Board. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and a recognized Fellow within her profession, Sinclaire has over 25 years of experience in financial management, governance, and accountability. She has worked extensively with the Office of the Auditor General of Canada, levels of government and various organizations on northern and indigenous issues and contributed to economic development initiatives across Canada’s northern communities. She also served as a Cabinet-appointed Council member on Nunavut's energy regulator for 8 years. As a Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager (CAFM) and founding partner of SILA North, Sinclaire is committed to reconciliation and sustainable economic growth.
Joining Sinclaire on the board is returning member Blake Scott and new members James Byra, Domenic Rampone, and Jerrett Lafontaine. Collectively, they bring expertise in finance, Indigenous business development, governance, and community economic initiatives, ensuring strong leadership for NDC’s future.
WFN Chief Robert Louie emphasized the importance of the appointments, stating, “Strong governance and strategic leadership are key to fostering long-term economic success. With this board, NDC is well-positioned to create lasting benefits for Westbank First Nation and its Members.”
