E.R.A.S.E - Building a Safe and Caring school Community

Expect Respect & A Safe Environment (ERASE). The ERASE website was developed by the Province of British Columbia to build safe and caring school environments, a philosophy that aligns with the goals of the sənsisyustən House of Learning.

 

The ERASE website includes information and tools on the following topics:

  • Bullying and violence prevention
  • Online safety, substance abuse and mental well-being
  • Sexual orientation and gender identity

The website also includes a Get Help section where students, parents, educators and supporting community partners can get help with challenges, report concerns to the school and learn about complex issues that students face. It also includes: 

  • 24/7 phone and text lines as well as online chats if they, or someone they know, needs help.
  • ERASE Report It tool to send a direct message to their school or school district’s safe school coordinator for immediate response. All information is private and confidential.
