sncewips Heritage Museum officially opens to the public
The WFN sncewips Heritage Museum hosted a community opening on Saturday February 1, 2020, officially opening their newer and larger location.
The new location is located at 260-525 Highway 97 South in the Okanagan Lake Shopping Centre and shares the history and culture of the syilx people.
The museum is currently open 10am - 4pm, Monday to Friday with a potential of extending to Saturdays in the future.
A Grand Opening Celebration will take place in April 2020 and will be open to the public.
