Shifting Into Winter
- Plan your driving in advance and check weather conditions and updated road reports
- SLOW DOWN! Posted speed limits are for ideal travel conditions
- Use CAUTION when you see WFN trucks spraying magnesium chloride or sand
- Keep roadsides CLEAR of parked vehicles during snow storms
Priority Sequence of Snow Removal
1. Main WFN Roads | Sneena Rd, Elk Rd, Grouse Rd, Nancee Way |
2. Parking Lots | Lindley Building, Royal Bank (Westbank Shopping Centre), Shannon Lake Grounds, Community Services Building, Pine Acres Home, Falcon Lane |
3. Bus Stop Routes | Alec, Quail Lane, Elk Rd, Cougar Rd, Elk Rd, Nancee Way, Bayview |
4. Secondary Routes | Fox Rd, Falcon Lane, Eagle Rd, Whitetail, Porcupine, Coyote Crescent, Spland Rd, Old Ferry Wharf Rd, Village Green, Lindley, Marmot Lane, Pheasant Lane, Sookinchute Court, Raven Rd, Red Cloud Way |
