Summer Kids Campstarts July 4
The Summer Kids Camp, offered by the Westbank First Nation After School Program, will run from July 4 to August 26, 2016. The camp is open to children ages 5 to 11, and there are eight different weekly camps to choose from. Kids should bring a full lunch, plenty of water, running shoes, sunscreen, a swimsuit, and a towel every day.

When: Monday to Friday | July 4 to August 26, 2016 | 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Cost: $150 per week
Ages: 5-11 years old (all children welcome!)
Registration opens on May 23, 2016.
Schedule:
July 4-8: Outdoor Adventure. Kids will explore Okanagan trails. Activities include hiking, biking, and visiting parks and gardens.
July 11-15: World Travellers. Kids will embrace different cultures through food tasting, cultural crafts, and games.
July 18-22: Aqua Adventures 1. This will be a fun-filled week of visiting Okanagan beaches, pools and water slides while learning about the importance of water safety.
July 25-29: Science & Nature Week. We will explore different forms of nature and science through hands-on activities.
August 2-4: Kreative Kids. Introductory cooking, crafts, and casual laid-back activities.
August 8-12: Syilx First Nation. This camp will educate participants on the importance of Okanagan traditions and practices. Activities include traditional story-telling, songs, art, traditional games, and visiting Okanagan Nation sites.
August 15-19: Aqua Adventures 2. This will be similar to Aqua Adventures 1, but with different beach destinations and water activities.
August 22-26: End of Summer Extravaganza. This will be a fun-filled week to end the summer.
