Garbage Collection Requirements during COVID-19
WFN asks all residents to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and help our waste reduction contractor continue to provide services by following the following requirements:
- Put all personal hygiene products, used tissues, sanitary wipes (even those labelled compostable), paper towels, napkins, cleaning clothes, face masks, gloves, and similar items in plastic garbage bags;
- Securely tie garbage bags shut and place in the garbage bin;
- A maximum of two CLEAR recycling bags will be picked up. Blue bags are no longer permitted. Additional bags and blue bags will NOT be collected. - Maximum weight restriction of 25lbs per bag;
- Sharp objects are not permitted;
- Bins must be set out in your regular collection area on your scheduled day, and
- Un-tied, un-bagged, loose items, ripped bags & recycled will not be collected.
