WFN BURSARY AND SCHOLARSHIP - APPLICATION DEADLINE

December 9, 2020 - WFN recognizes the importance of education in the pursuit of career goals, and to acknowledge this, will be honouring students through the remaining Chief Black Bear, skəmxist, Bursary and St’k’ʷək’ʷip Scholarship for the academic year 2020-2021. All WFN Member students currently enrolled in postsecondary are eligible to apply.

The St’k’ʷək’ʷip Scholarship, $1,500:

Awarded to a student who displays exceptional academic achievement and community contribution. The name “St’k’ʷək’ʷip” is a metaphor describing something physically falling on you as a responsibility to carry out or see through to its end, usually this responsibility is given to you by your community.

Chief Black Bear, skəmxist, Bursary, $800:

Represents: Governance, leadership, and the selflessness that accompanies these positions within a community. Programs may include: Leadership, Political Science, History, Law, Title and Rights, Information Technology, Communications, Journalism, and English, Public Administration.

The application form can be found on WFN Website or Community Services Office and are to be submitted to Education Services Office (calexander@wfn.ca) by Friday January 8, 2020 by 4:30 P.M.

Incomplete applications will be disqualified.
