WFN YOUTH (12+) COVID-19 POP UP VACCINATION CLINIC

May 19, 2021 - WFN has secured first doses of the Pfizer vaccine for the youth (12+) of WFN Member and staff households. A special, pop-up vaccination clinic will be held at WFN’s Community Services this Friday, May 21 from 12:30p.m. to 2:30 p.m. to administer the Pfizer vaccine. Members are encouraged to register their child/youth to continue to protect themselves, their families, and the community from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. To register, please contact Community Services at 250-768-0227.

As the long weekend is approaching, WFN continues to encourage Members, community members, and staff to follow the current restrictions in effect for the Province of British Columbia. As a reminder, this includes:

  • No indoor social gatherings of any size with anyone other than your household or, if you live alone, your core bubble
  • Maximum of 10 people can gather outdoors (at park or beach, in the backyard of a residence)
  • Reducing interactions as possible, and if required meet outdoors and continue to wear a mask
  • Limit non-essential travel to the Central Okanagan
  • Fines can be issued for non-essential travel

WFN continues to provide testing to those individuals exposed to COVID-19, or displaying symptoms. Please contact WFN’s Community Services at 250-768-0227 (Mon-Fri) or the West Kelowna Urgent Primary Care Centre (weekends) at 250-469-6010.
