The Comprehensive Community Plan (CCP) is a community-led plan, governed by the Community Plan Law, and is the main guiding document for WFN.
The CCP helps us to sustainably manage our social, cultural, economic and land use interests over a long-term horizon within the WFN Administration and the traditional territory of the Okanagan Nation.
The CCP is action & strategy based, not policy based, and represents our community voice based on the Four Food Chiefs:

2025 Update
Planning & Development has been diligently working on the CCP 2025 Review & Update Project with Dillon Consulting Ltd. Dillon has in-depth knowledge of WFN and our CCP process as they successfully completed the 2020/2022 CCP update and overhaul, so we are very glad to have them back on board.
This revision will update the CCP goals and action items and bring this guiding document into alignment with current community needs. This will once again be achieved by doing extensive engagement with WFN’s community and government. The plan is to keep the 2025 CCP update structured very similarly to its predecessor, but include up-to-date information.
The project kicked off in December 2024. It is anticipated that the final draft will be completed and ready for final comments in December 2025 and the final report ready in March 2026. Membership will then vote on the 2025 CCP’s adoption – date TBD.
