Governments, to the best of their abilities, should operate in an accessible, accountable and transparent manner. The obligations and responsibilities inherent in governing include fostering unity and maintaining good faith engagement with Members and the broader WFN community.

With these concepts in mind, on July 17, 2017 Council resolved to enact a Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Law, pursuant to section 60.2 of the WFN Constitution. This law allows qualifying persons to access non-exempted, WFN-held information, as well as ensures the protection of any personal information collected by WFN in the standard course of business.
