Basic needs such as shelter are a necessity to living a productive and healthy life. Westbank First Nation is committed to ensuring adequate housing options are available for Members. Development services works toward implementing the strategy to identify community lands suitable for housing development, determine short and long term housing needs, and prioritize areas for development.

The WFN Allotment Commission allots Community Lands, set aside by Council, to Members who qualify for home ownership. We're working toward ensuring that every Member has the opportunity to apply for an allotment for the purpose of building their own home. In the interim, we provide non-profit rental units for Members at below market rental rates.
