Being connected to and taking care of our Elders is a priority for WFN. Our Elders keep us on a good path and connected to who we are, reminding us of culture, tradition, and the importance of knowledge holding & sharing.
WFN Elders are able to access all Member services, inclusive of the following additions:
Open to any WFN Member who is at least 60 years of age.
The Elders Group provides a venue for WFN Elders to meet and discuss issues of mutual interest, socialize with each other and engage in traditional Okanagan practices. Meetings are followed by a healthy luncheon.
This service benefits WFN Elders who are on limited income or have become disabled and are in need of an emergency repair of their home in order to maintain a safe living environment. With limited funding, repairs are prioritized first by need and safety. Applications may be filled out with the Elder Coordinator to start the process.
Examples of emergency housing repairs:
Member-specific policies can be found on the WFN Member App and Smymay. Upcoming events will be posted to the WFN App Calendar. If you are a WFN Member and would like assistance accessing either, please contact the Communications team.

Members & Staff who have a pass from the previous season can bring that pass to be reloaded, and will not need to pay the $20 fee.

Winter passes include skiing and snowboarding. Summer passes include mountain biking and hiking. Summer and winter passes are different products with different waivers, so Members and Staff will need to activate passes for both Summer and Winter seasons separately.
