The Early Years Department and the Westbank Child Development Centre are coming together to plan for a potential combined new centre in the Community Core. Westbank First Nation is engaging with Members to gain insight and feedback regarding the new centre and what it should include to provide the best possible future for our Youngest Members.

Community Engagement Timeline:

  • August 28, 2019 - New Early Years Centre World Cafe Event: Parents, Staff and Members gathered for a group dialogue about the future addition to the Community Core.
  • September 6 - October 11, 2019 - New Early Years Centre Survey
  • October 21 - November 8, 2019 - Community Response Boards
