Community Core Multi-Use Park

Grand Opening

The Multi-Use Park is hosting a Grand Opening on August 17, 2018 from 3-9pm

The event will include a ribbon cutting, words from Chief Lindley, semi-pro skate presentations, games and a movie in the park. 

Background

Consultation for a new community core multi-use park began in 2016. The public park will include a number of outdoor recreational facilities and amenities, including a skate park, pump track, and sports court. 

Westbank First Nation strives to provide opportunities for community members to lead healthy and active lifestyles. This new park will add to the outdoor recreation spaces already available in the community. The new park will sport a basketball court, skate bowl and pump track; riders continuously move through the track creating movement with up and down body movements.
