Westbank First Nation staff provide assistance with applications for various AANDC and CMHC programs including the Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program, Home Adaptations for Seniors Independence, WFN Member new housing construction grant, as well as the Emergency Elders Housing Repair Grant. WFN Members are not necessarily guaranteed eligibility for financial assistance programs, and CMHC and AANDC funding is determinant on availability.
The RRAP offers financial assistance to First Nations and First Nation members to repair substandard homes to a minimum level of health and safety.
The RRAP-D offers financial assistance to First Nations and First Nation members to undertake accessibility work to modify dwellings occupied or intended for occupancy by persons with disabilities.

The HASI helps First Nations and First Nation members pay for minor home adaptations to on-reserve properties to extend the time seniors can live in their own homes independently.
This grant provides financial assistance to Members, who have a registered Certificate of Possession for their property, in the construction of a new home.
WFN Elders Emergency Housing Repairs
This service benefits WFN Elders who are on limited income or have become disabled and are in need of an emergency repair of their home in order to maintain a safe living environment. With limited funding, repairs are prioritized first by need and safety. Applications may be filled out with the Elder Coordinator to start the process. Examples of emergency housing repairs: Water leakage Electrical Plumbing Furnace malfunction Hot water take malfunction Roof repairs Septic malfunction Other services Residential garbage collection Snowplowing of driveway Lawn mowing Providing fire wood to heat the home
