WFN’s Landscaping and Parks team designs, installs, and maintains landscaping. Plants are selected for their ecological compatibility and suitability to site conditions and context. Where possible, indigenous and drought-tolerant plants are used to support biodiversity and draw less on limited water resources.
Visit Make Water Work to explore the plant collection, including dry-climate, FireSmart, and indigenous plants.
Residents are asked to keep vehicles off of roadways for the duration of a storm event and thereafter to allow for efficient snow removal.
Plows are unable to avoid depositing snow in front of driveways, as snow is directed towards the right. To lessen the amount of snow deposited on your driveway, pile snow to left (when facing your driveway). Do not shovel snow from your driveway onto the road.
The registered owner of a property is responsible for removing all snow and ice from any sidewalk adjacent to owned property, no later than 10:00 a.m. the morning of any day except Sunday (as per WFN Traffic and Parking Control Law No. 2005-13). Snow or ice is not to be placed from a parcel of land or sidewalk on any traveled portion of any highway or sidewalk.
