The law provides for the establishment of five Advisory Council members, comprised of residents from each of the five districts. WFN residents vote to elect Councillors to the Advisory Council, while WFN Members vote to elect a Chief & Council.

MINUTES AND AGENDAS
At the Advisory Council's Annual General Meeting, residents are invited to stop by to learn about new developments and projects, tax expenditures, programs and services. The AGM is typically hosted in April each year.
The 2025 AGM will be held Wednesday, April 16th, 2025 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at Sensisyusten Gymnasium & Multipurpose Room (1920 Quail Lane).
Not only are residents of Westbank Lands represented by their Advisory Council, but they are also represented by the elected representative of Central Okanagan West through the Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO). Due to this unique relationship, residents of Westbank lands are eligible to vote in scheduled elections for the (RDCO) that occur every four (4) years. As WFN holds a service agreement with the RDCO, taxation dollars are expended for the mutual benefit of both bodies to best support the residents they serve. It is important that residents are aware of their rights, and ability to vote in RDCO elections to ensure they are represented at all levels. Residents are additionally able to vote for the Zone 2 School Trustee through the RDCO.
