The 2019-2022 WFN Chief and Council Election was held on September 19, 2019.
Council Elections are held every three years. Council is elected by the Westbank First Nation Membership. The Westbank First Nation Government consists of one Chief and four Councillors who govern under the Westbank First Nation Constitution.

Advisory Council Elections are held every three years. The Advisory Council is elected by Westbank First Nation residents who are not WFN Members. The election and the Advisory Council operate under the Westbank First Nation Advisory Council Law.
The first Nomination Period commences the 2nd week in August, and the second Nomination Period commences the 3rd week in August. During those times, residents are invited to submit nominations for qualified residents whom they would like to represent their district on the WFN Advisory Council.
Residents will then go to the polls to submit their votes on Oct 15.
