The Westbank First Nation (WFN) Youth Leadership Council supports and guides youth, aged 15 to 24, by encouraging them to take a positive and prominent role in the community, thereby promoting unity, leadership skills, and independence. The goal is to empower youth, give them a voice in the community, build confidence, and promote the development of future leaders.
WFN's Youth Council is a shining example of leadership. Through their hard work, they have very successfully fundraised for programs that support community, provided valuable input, and feedback to guide the WFN government and administration, and inspired neighbouring communities to develop their own Youth Councils.
